THE WEAPON CALLED THE TONGUE

Proverbs 18:21 NKJV
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Beloved

Blessed morning to you all and I welcome you to this morning. It’s my prayer this morning that every element of this day shall work in your favour in Jesus name.

A weapon is an instrument to make war and two things happen at war front, either you defend yourself or you attack and this is why weapons are not synanymous to children.

Our Bible pullout this morning makes us understand that the mouth is also a weapon as much as every Instrument of War is?

Is your tongue a life giver or taker???

Know this morning that you’re called to be a life giver and as such, you must dutiffully live life to impact the others.

As a believer, you must – understand that your words needs to be watched because it the multitude of words do death resides.
– be lenient to respond when emotional else, you regret your words and the aftermath action when the emotions (Anger) washes off.
– Understand that there is power in your words. So, use it wisely.

It is my prayer this morning that your words shall be an embodiment of God’s grace in Jesus name.

Have a blessed day.

GREATNESS OF GOD

Daily devotion
September 17, 2019

GREATNESS OF GOD

Psalm 29:8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
29:9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

Beloveth.

Blessed morning to you and I truth you had a wonderful night rest?

Throughout history, God has revealed his power through mighty miracles over nature, such as the great flood, raising the dead and healing the SICK and to this, Apostle Paul encourages us to understand the greatness of God’s power (Eph 1: 18-23) for He (God) has promised to continue revealing this power to us all.

As adopted children ( which our devotion some weeks back emphasized) the same power that raised Christ from the dead is available to help us with our daily problem.

When you feel weak and limited, don’t despair. Remember that the strength and greatness of God is available for you. The power that controls creation and raises the dead is available to you.

It is my prayer that in this month and beyond, the greatness of God shall be available to you in Jesus name.

Do not be afraid or despair, his Greatness is available for you.

Have a blessed day.

DIVINE LOVE

Daily devotion
September 15, 2019

Romans 5:8 NKJV
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Beloved

Blessed morning to you and welcome to this wonderful morning.

The phrase; “while we are yet sinners”, are amazing words. God sent Jesus christ to die for us, not because we are good enough but because he loved us.

So, whenever you feel unqualified or uncertain of God’s love, there is just one simple steps to take.

Repent.

Always remember that he loved you even before you turned to him. However, don’t take it for granted.

If God can love you when you’re a rebel, he can surely strengthen you to love him in return.

It is my prayer this morning that HIS love shall make you, hole in Jesus name.

YOU’RE NOT FORGOTTEN

Daily devotion.
Sept 14, 2019

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

YOU’RE NOT ABANDONED

Beloved

Calvary greetings to you and welcome to this new day. It is my prayer that the God most high shall overshadow you with divine grace in Jesus name.

Do you sometimes feel you’re not making progress in your spiritual life? Know this, When God starts a project, he completes it.
As with the phillipians, God would help you grow in grace until he has completed his work in your life.

When you’re discouraged, remember God won’t give up on you. He promise to finish the work he has began.

When you feel incomplete, unfinished or distressed by your shortcomings, remember God’s promise and provision. Don’t let your present condition rob you of the joy of knowing Christ or keep you from growing closer to him.

I pray for somebody this morning; The grace to work closer and in fellowship with the holy spirit shall be yours in Jesus name.

Maranatha.

NOT TO EGYPT

Daily devotion
September 13, 2019

Joshua 24:14 NKJV
“Now therefore, fear the Lord , serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord !

NOT TO EGYPT

Beloved

Blessed morning to you and I welcome you to yet another wonderful Friday morning. It is my prayer this morning that the peace of heaven shall abide with you in Jesus name.

Isrealites are characterized as people that saw the raw act of power, manifestation of great miracle and physical representation of God in their midst yet, at any slight challenge, they run back to Egypt.

Many years gone by and we, believers of this time still do same.

Egypt is a place of Idolatory, a place of blasphemy against God, an act of denial of God’s supremacy, a place of quick fix solution to our problem and a place of rebellion against God.

We have been bought over and delivered from egypt, why do we go back therein. We need to understand that any solution to life’s problem from Egypt is no solution but a snare.
You shall not be caught in the snare of life in Jesus name.

I beseech you this morning according to psalm 46:10 ” Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth; to stand still in the knowing that he is God and he would arise for your sake in Jesus name

Do have a blessed Friday.

DIVINE WISDOM

Daily devotion
SEPTEMBER 10, 2019

Proverbs 2:4-6 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Beloved

Blessed morning and I am sure you had a wonderful night?. It is my prayer this morning that the peace of heaven shall not depart from your lives in Jesus name.

Wisdom comes in two ways; it is God’s given gift and also the result of an energetic search. Wisdom ‘s starting point is God and his revealed word; the source of “knowledge and understanding”. In that sense, wisdom is a gift to us.

However, he gives wisdom only to those who ernestly seek it because God’s wisdom is hidden from the rebellious and foolish. It takes great effort to find it and use it.

The pathway to wisdom is streneous. When we are on the path, we discover that true wisdom is God’s and that he would guide us and reward our sincere and persistent search.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

It is my prayer this morning that as you seek him, you shall be wiser in the understanding of who he is in Jesus name.

Have a blessed day.

You’re your words

Daily devotion
September 7, 2019

Psalm119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Prov 15:28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

YOU’RE YOUR WORDS.

Beloved.

Calvary greetings in Jesus name.

A man can best be described by the words of his mouth because his words is a product of what richly resides in him and as such our words must be watched so we are not adjudged as what we are not.
The bible regards does who weigh their words as being righteous and those who do not as been wicked because they do not care about the adverse effect their words might have caused.
If it is important to have something to say, then it is important to weigh it first.

You’re nothing but your words.

I beseech you this day to weigh your words. Remember the bible admonish us to be swift to hear but slow to respond.

I pray this day that our words shall not condemn us on the last day in Jesus name.
Have a blessed day.

Maranatha
